City Limits Seafood in Philadelphia

Service was great, food was great but I wish there were Bible tracks at the register and an option to donate to a local in county non-profit all year round. Do the workers collectively donate thier time once a month, quarterly or even yearly to a local service project(s)???

Yesterday we had a cold experience, I asked for my steak to be cooked well instead it had red center,(not for me,)sent It back to be browned came back the same except It had been half warmed.The rolls were cold the waitress was very rude rushing us along.She was completely stupid.Enjoyed this place in the past , but now it's the pits!

If your ever in town and looking for good mom and pop place that's seafood. Great people amazing food good prices. Really enjoyed

Very friendly waitress and friendly atmosphere. 2 meals for less than $16 and we are stuffed. Shrimp Poboy was excellent. The steak fries were awesome. Hamburger steak with gravy and onions was good. Our waitress was busy but very attentive to all her tables.

The food is good however, the customer service is horrible! We went in on a Sunday after church for lunch. Rather than being told to wait & come back at 5 when they re-opened we were seated and left there for over 10 minutes with no server. While finishing our meal a waitress who was not assigned to our table walked up to us while she had a mouth full of food and asked if we were ready to pay and leave. I really hate the customer service is bad because it’s such a good restaurant. I just can’t foresee spending anymore money with them under these circumstances.

We ate there this Saturday night which was the first time in quite a while. We have always been pleased with our meals and the service. We were somewhat disappointed this trip. I always order the fried shrimp and my friend orders the steak and we share. The shrimp was delicious but his steak wasn't tender. We had to ask for rolls and when they were served not those tall fluffy ones but more the height of a biscuit. Hopefully it was just a change in the cook staff for the night.

My favorite place in Philadelphia to eat! Good food & good services!! **Update: I went to city limits on 04/19/19 at 8:30 to get a salad. As I got out of the car it started raining & the wind was blowing so I decided to just call in my order & then run in to get it once it was ready. I called & the lady said that they were closed bc it's slow. There where 14 vehicles in the parking lot. At that point I told her I was sitting in the parking lot, she still said that they were closed as I sat there & watched a very busy inside! As many times I've come to this place I've never once had a complaint of anything but that girl straight up lied. I was just here a couple weeks ago & left that previous review.

The food was amazing and so was our waitress Tiffany. Loved the atmosphere. Everyone was very nice.

Food not that great for price

My fish was delicious but WAY overpriced. I paid $11.75 for one fillet of catfish, some reheated frozen vegetables, and 2 mediocre rolls. I spent over $12 after tip and left hungry. Don't recommend, will not go back.

Very good! Highly recommend for family gatherings! The gratuity is high, but totally worth it!

Great atmosphere!! Wonderful hostess!! You don't have to wait on food. They get the food out quickly and they refill your drinks without telling them! Warm atmosphere! The food scrumptious! We dined on New York shrimp and the Fisherman's Limit. Right seasonings, sauces and dressings are homemade. Love it!! Will be back!!

Small town atmosphere and friendly service. Variety of foods from steak to seafood to pasta. They always have a special worth trying. Haven't been disappointed yet.

This place was absolutely wonderful!!! We we're in town for work and went based on the rating. Let me tell you it was well worth it.. and the service made it even better. And the best part is... They played contemporary Christian music!!! Try it and you won't regret it!!!

I've eaten here for both lunch and dinner. On my most recent visit, we had fried green tomatoes (DELICIOUS!), grilled shrimp, and bread pudding. My mother also ordered the ribeye. Everything was wonderful and prices are very reasonable. Our waitress was very friendly and pleasant!

Great food and staff

The food was good, fast and friendly service. Overall, a very nice experience. I do want to share with those folks that have shellfish allergies, to not eat there or be very careful about what you get to eat because they cook everything on the same grill. They do warn you if you tell them of your specific allergy. I would have rated it much higher if not for that.

Great food and great prices in a family friendly atmosphere.

The food was not great. I ordered a grilled chicken something or other and it was pretty plain. I think they are attempting to serve a healthyish menu, but the presentation was poor and the food was just lackluster. The hostess was nice and my daughter and I were served quickly, but the food needs revamped because it was not up to par with what I expected at all.

This restaurant is the best I’ve been to in a while. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Tiffany was on top of all our needs. I highly recommend City Limits Seafood & Steaks.

Excellent food in a quaint atmosphere. Great service. My family eats there at least once per month.

My husband and I were in town for an extended period while visiting his brother, and several people recommended we eat here. They did not mislead us! The food and service were both fantastic. Our meals were fresh, they were served fast, and I have rarely had such friendly servers from a restaurant! If you are in town, this is a MUST!

The steak was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. Shrimp was fantastic. The cheese grits are one of the greatest things i have ever tasted. Bread pudding was excellent. Everything was top notch.

Menu has a many selections, something for everyone. Prices were shockingly low, considering the quality of food and service.

The food and the service was good.I loved my new york strip steak, it was very tender and juicy. Also my vegetable medley was great. My husband barbecue rib tips was good and, then my son 🐔 tenders were good.
